Ichiba Japan Centre, Europe’s largest Japanese food hall, is situated in the new Westfield London extension at Shepherd’s Bush.

PSH provided full MEP consultancy services for this 17,400 sq ft retail and restaurant space.

The store features a Japanese bakery, Sushi, meat and fish counter, robata grill, demo kitchen, theatre kitchen, sake bar, deli counter, okonomiyaki cooking island and space for customers to sit.

The cooking stations meant installing five extract ventilation canopies and the supply and kitchen extract for the unit is provided via a roof air handling unit, fitted with a plate heat exchanger for heat recovery.
